Acceptable Use Policy

kholect's compliance model — consent records, suppression lists, an audit trail — depends on leads entering your workspace through one of two channels. This policy exists to keep that model honest.

No purchased or third-party lists

You may not import, upload, or otherwise add contact lists that you purchased, scraped from a third-party source, or obtained from anyone other than kholect's own discovery. This includes list-broker data, scraped social media contacts, and lists shared by another company. There's no legitimate-interest or consent basis kholect can attach to a lead we didn't discover and you didn't genuinely add yourself — so we don't allow it.

Leads must come from

• kholect's own discovery of public business listings (Google Places, OpenStreetMap), or
• manual entry of a business you have a genuine relationship with or a real basis to contact.

No purchased or rented sending infrastructure to evade suppression

You may not use kholect to route around a suppression entry — for example, re-adding an unsubscribed contact under a different email address to keep sending to them.

Sending standards

You're responsible for keeping your complaint and bounce rates low. We monitor these automatically and may pause a workspace's sending if rates put our shared sending reputation at risk for other customers. We'll tell you why and what to fix before you're paused where possible.

Prohibited content

No outreach for illegal products or services, no phishing or deceptive sender information, and no content that misrepresents who you are or what you're offering.

Enforcement

A breach of this policy may result in a warning, a temporary pause on sending, or account termination, depending on severity. Contact contact@virtualverselabs.com if you think we've made a mistake.
